10x24ft (3.2x7.7m) Glasshouse 4mm Toughened Glass

Please note, on this 10x24ft model, the configuration is 8+8+8ft, meaning there are 3x 8ft sections with 2 sets of internal support walls.  The reason being, the shorter 8ft lengths bear the weight of the glass better than the 12ft lengths.  In the same size greenhouse with polycarbonate glazing, we do the 12+12ft configuration as the poly is much lighter and doesn't require the shorter lenghts, and the 12+12 with only one set of internal support walls gives a bit more space.  Though both structures are roughly 10x24ft, the actual mm dimensions are not equal.  The 8+8+8ft configuration is 7680mm in length, but the 12+12ft configuration is 7634mm in length, a 46mm difference in overall length.

Building Note: For 10ft (3.2m) long and longer greenhouses, it is advisable to strop the sides together as you are putting in the G05H (side wall) panels. This will help keep them at a 90° angle to the ground, and keep the sides from bowing as you assemble.

It is also advisable to add the rubber beading to each panel as you put them in place in the side wall, and then do the same for each roof panel. Adding rubber beading as you go will help stabilize the structure and lock it in place. Once you have the side walls up you can remove the strops before beginning the roof assembly.
